Boehm’s father, Lt. Edward Boehm, was being honored for his role as a combat liaison propaganda officer during World War II.

“I’m very honored that my father is being recognized for his achievement. It was a great evening for me and fulfills another promise I always made him,” said Boehm during the Days of Remembrance Ceremony.

Before the day ended, Carter donated many artifacts from his father to the Holocaust Muesum and revealed a new inscription on the Donor wall which says, “Boehm Family for Lt. Edward Boehm.”
